I couldn't post Inside Out by Odyssey without pairing it with this tune. Not only are both tunes incredibly similar but I think the lyrics also share a bit of a creepy vibe.
Has anybody got any insight into why these tunes are so alike?

Slave - Watching You

I have always wondered the same. Quite similar and both excellent.
Producer Jimmy Douglas - who started out as an engineer at Atlantic Records - did both records, so he essentially re-made his own track. Later he'd work w/ rap producer Timbaland as his engineer/right-hand guy.
Yup, not only did Jimmy Douglas produce both tracks, he similarity was very deliberate. I know, I asked him!
You may also be keen to know, some members of Slave actually performed on the Odyssey tune, also.
