Buddy Miles, awesome drummer and singer who played with Jimi Hendrix, sadly died on Tuesday night at the age of 60 in Austin, Texas.
Miles, Hendrix, and Billy Cox were the infamous Band of Gypsys but before Buddy joined the legendary band he drummed and sang in his own band, The Buddy Miles Express. He later went on to work with Carlos Santana and was also the vocalist behind the famous California Raisins adverts in the 80s.
