'What kind of fuckery is this,
You made me miss the Slick Rick gig...'
A tenuous link from one of my favourite lyrics leading to one of my favourite guilty pleasures, Slick Rick - Street Talkin' feat. Big Boi.

The Ugly Talented Mix Series
This year we have been privileged to have fellow bloggers Cosmic Disco, Another Night On Earth and Innersounds who put together a collection of excellent tunes for us to post.
Haydn and I are working on getting more posted for you in the coming months but in the meantime we have added a new section on the blog so you can always access these mixes.
For those of you viewing us through Google Reader (other RSS aggregators are available by the way) then you may want to visit us direct if you haven't got your hands on these mixes yet.
Stay tuned for Ugly Talented Mix Series #4 - coming soon...

Footage Issues
I was trying to find some other footage and Archie but other than 'Tighten Up' it's pretty rare. Anyway, enjoy the video - love the guitarists.

Junior - Mama Used To Say
It's ages since I promised to post some more Brit Funk YouTubes so here's a no expense spared video from Junior.
I don't know much about Junior Giscombe's background other than he scraped the Top 10 in the US with this song in 1982 and his nephew is Richard Blackwood. Never mind.
Let us know if you want to see any more from the Brit Funk archives.
Lizzy Mercier Descloux - Sun Is Shining
Ephraim Uzomechina Nzeka - Zombie
Galaxy To Galaxy - Timeline
